As the exam season draws near, we know it can be a challenging time. However, at King’s Academic Skills and Learning (KASL), we’re here to assist you every step of the way. We provide a range of online and in-person workshops to support you with your preparation process.

KASL provide effective exam strategies and writing workshops to help boost your confidence in writing a dissertation.

Revision and Exam Strategies: 23 April – 8 May

From providing tips on how to organise your notes, to creating mind maps and implementing strategies for timed exams, this session aims to help you build a solid revision plan. Revision and Exam Strategies sessions would enable you to assess the scale of the revision required for each topic and to identify potential areas of vulnerability.

Writing Dissertation: 23 April – 19 August

These series of Writing Dissertation workshops are designed to provide you with useful approaches and tools to get started with your dissertation, refine your research focus, analyse results and report your findings. Through these sessions, you can master the art of writing a strong dissertation by focusing on the argument structure, reviewing key literatures, and summarising your analysis in a conclusion.
