For the "Behind the Scenes" competition, we invited you to capture the beauty found in moments on campus - the quiet, unseen, and the in-between. Following a strong range of submissions, we are excited to announce this year’s winners.
And the winners are...
Congratulations to Rom Steinberg, student at the Faculty of Natural, Mathematical & Engineering Sciences (photo above) and Helen Eames, Lecturer in EAP Education and Pre-sessional & Short Courses Assistant Coordinator (photo below), for winning the 'Behind the Scenes' photography competition with these outstanding shots.
I realise that this isn't the classic behind the scenes look, but it is what happens in the ten minutes between classes in Bush House South East and there is a beauty in that. The runners up
In second place is Eitan Mirvis, student at the Faculty of Life Sciences and Medicine, who has captured his colleague inspecting blood samples which were used in a groundbreaking new treatment for blood cancers...
... and Catherine Sharman, IT colleague in the AV team whose image depicts a 35mm cinema projector in action for a Film Studies class, operated by the AV services team.
In third place is Annabelle Duggan, student in the Faculty of Arts & Humanities, and David Batten, Engineering Technician in the Faculty of Natural, Mathematical & Engineering Sciences.
