Description
In July, a group of PhD students from the University of North Carolina's (UNC's) prestigious Royster Society met with counterparts here at King's for a three-day Summer Global Conference on the theme of "The Civic University". The meeting generated not only huge enthusiasm, serious thinking, learning and discussion but also the germ of an idea: the creation of an ongoing programme for interdisciplinary-minded research students to meet, inspire and be thought-leaders here at King's.
