Our international partners

To solve global health issues and move the profession forward internationally, we work with partners around the world. Joining forces, we can fight disease, transform care and save millions of lives.

From China to Singapore, to Brazil and America, our growing international network is boosting the standard of education around the world and unravelling complex challenges faced by entire populations.

By offering overseas placements, our students experience care in different cultures. By applying our research to practice, we’re improving outcomes for patients and their families. By working with other institutions, we’re educating the healthcare professionals of the future.

Success story: Nanjing Health School in China

In 2015, we started a five-year partnership with Nanjing Health School to provide education and consultancy to teachers and qualified nurses. So far we’ve delivered a range of CPD courses, three teachers are completing PhDs and six students are studying our bespoke one-year BSc. We’re also working together to develop a BSc programme to educate the next generation of nurses.

Ngee Ann Academy in Singapore

Educating nurses to degree level is associated with lower mortality rates and better patient care. Partnering with Ngee Ann Academy in Singapore, we now offer a King’s degree taught fully outside of the UK. With a mixture of classroom sessions and online learning, the course is designed to equip qualified nurses with critical skills that will transform the way they approach challenges in their career.
