These standards are part of the 'Realising Professionalism' Standards for Education and Training, released by the NMC in 2018:
SSSA replaced the Standards for Learning and Assessment in Practice (NMC 2008).
What courses at King's use the SSSA?

- Midwifery BSc
- Specialist Community Public Health Nursing MSc
- V100/150 and V300 Prescribing qualifications
The Florence Nightingale Faculty of Nursing, Midwifery & Palliative Care has developed a Strategy for implementing SSSA, and the principles outlined in this annually reviewed document guide how we maintain our commitments to the NMC Standards.
