Profiles & Transcripts

This information is for people who studied nursing or midwifery at King's.
Information for all other courses is available here.
Which do I need?

The terminology used for ‘profiles’ and ‘transcripts’ may differ across institutions. Please read the following to determine which document you require.


A profile is a formal record of the programme or module you studied, which shows:
the start and end dates of the programme, and/or freestanding module/smodule marks, andoverall programme resultsYou need a profile if you require a summary of your studies at King’s for your own personal records. The turnaround time is 15 working days. Printed documents will be on crested paper.

Profile Costs (effective as of 10 October 2019):

  • £5 – PDF file only
  • £7.50 – PDF and hard copy posted via Royal Mail First Class to UK address 
  • £10 – PDF and hard copy posted to an international address

Request a profile 

If you studied for a BSc or PgDip from 2012 onwards:
Please register on HEAR, where you will be able to download an official document with stamp. This is free of charge. 


A transcript is a certified document that includes your full name, programme or module, and date of enrolment, with details of your marks and final award when applicable. It will also contain programme and module descriptions and a detail of your clinical placements. All transcripts bear the official King’s College London seal.

You need a transcript if a prospective employer, Board of Nursing or Higher Education Institution asks you to provide an official record of your King’s award. Transcripts are normally sent directly to you unless you request otherwise at time of purchase.

Please note we are unable to process transcript requests between 6 September - 1 October 2019, whilst we work to enrol new and returning students.

Replacement diploma and degree certificates

Replacement certificates can be obtained from King's College London Examinations Office. If they are unable to help with your request, please email and a member of the Student Services Centre team will advise you.
