Student societies

There are two societies affiliated closely with the Department:

Chemistry Society

We were founded to remind chemists that there is a world outside the lab. From parties, quizzes, debates, and various other social activities, we’ll have you mingling like in-phase S and P orbitals, increasing the entropy of that social calendar! Our aim is to give everyone the full student experience during their time in our department, while sharing a love for Chemistry. However, despite having a love of electrons that’d rival that of a halogen, we are open to all students!

KCL Women in STEM (WiSTEM)

KCL Women in STEM (WiSTEM) is a network of students, professionals, academics, and researchers who support diversity in science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM) at King's College London. WiSTEM works to represent women, non-binary, and LGBTQ+ scientists at Faculty level and fights for better working conditions. WiSTEM also hosts a wide range of events to provide members with an inclusive STEMsisters support network.
