Improving our environment provides an impact focus for our engineering research.
We research global environmental issues such as wildfires that link with our King’s colleagues in the Department of Geography Leverhulme Centre for Wildfires, Environment and Society.
Our researchers are also investigating how we can reduce our impact on the environment from developing low energy, high efficiency computer systems to mitigate the impact of data storage and processing to machine learning for agricultural harvesting.
