Our Department has strong links to King’s Health Partners both clinical and academic, providing our researchers access to this vibrant, world-leading medical and dental research community.
Our research covers a multitude of health and well-being questions from helping those with autism encounter new experiences by using computer vision to assess emotions, signal processing for cardiac and neurological diagnostics, and developing robotic systems for muscular therapy.
Professor Toktam Mahmoodi worked with industry partners Ericsson, Verizon, and BT to trial the transformative possibilities of global 5G networks, looking specifically at the delivery of medical supplies.
