Postgraduate taught

Geography at King's unites science, society and the environment, allowing students to address key issues facing the world today. This includes climate change, environment and development, risk and disasters, sustainability and territorial security. 

The suite of master's courses offered by the Department of Geography is one of the largest in the UK, allowing you to specialise in areas of particular interest and to benefit from our multidisciplinary expertise. You will also study with award-winning and world leading experts.

Our students are at the heart of our teaching effort, which is international in its outlook, interdisciplinary in its scope, and engaged in its spirit. All our teaching staff are actively involved in research and our various master's programmes are closely tied into the work of our research groups. This ensures that our taught modules are informed by the very latest work in the field.
