It Stops Here is a collaborative campaign by King’s College London and KCLSU to build an environment where all of our students, staff and community members feel welcome, supported and safe regardless of who they are.
It Stops Here began in 2015 as an activist campaign by the KCLSU Women’s Association to lobby the university to do more around sexual harassment on campus.
Subsequently, King’s committed to improving its policies and processes around all forms of bullying, harassment, sexual misconduct and hate-crime, expanding the remit of the Diversity & Inclusion team in Human Resources.
The campaign was launched with three aims:
Respect: to foster a campus community where everyone feels safe and welcome, and to empower students and staff to identify and challenge harassment whenever they see it.
Report: for every member of the King’s community to know that if something does happen, there is someone you can safely and confidentially talk to.
Support: to promote internal and external support services available to those who have experienced harassment.
If you would like to request staff or student leaflets for your area, please contact the Diversity & Inclusion team.
