Performance in clinical research
South London and Maudsley holds a large portfolio of National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) contracts, including our NIHR Maudsley Biomedical Research Centre, as well as NIHR grants (including Programmes, HTA and Research for Patient Benefit).
NHS providers holding NIHR contracts are required to report to the NIHR on a quarterly basis, providing information on initiating and delivering clinical research.
This includes our performance in meeting the 70-day benchmark to recruit first patients into trials, and time and target data for commercial trials.
