Arabic Level 1, Part 1 (Evening 5 Week Intensive)

These three-hour lessons will get you communicating at a very basic level in just five weeks. You’ll be able to greet people, find your way, tell the time and date, make purchases and order a meal. You’ll also get a small insight into Arabic-speaking life, culture, and society. Arabic Level 1, Part 2 (Evening 5 week Intensive)

Take your Arabic lessons further by learning the idafa (noun-noun) structure and the dual while continuing with adjectives, masculine and feminine plurals, irregular plural patterns and more. Practise asking for directions, discussing where you came from, and shopping, amongst other functions.

Arabic Level 1, Parts 1-3 (45 hours) - 15 week Intensive course

This course is aimed at a wide range of students with a general interest in Arabic. No prior knowledge of Arabic is required as the course is for complete beginners.

Arabic Level 2, Part 1 (Evening 5 Week Intensive)

This course is aimed at a wide range of students with a general interest in Arabic who have completed an Arabic Level 1 course with the King's Language Centre or the GCSE equivalent.

British Sign Language Level 1, Part 1 (Evening 5 Week Intensive)

To acquire basic language skills and to achieve the equivalent of the Level 1 Award in British Sign Language. By the end of the course, you will: Be able to greet people, use numbers, times, and dates, describe the weather, people, and activities. Have a basic competence of everyday interaction with deaf people who use Sign Language. Have a basic understanding of the grammatical structure of British Sign Language.

Greet people, use numbers, times and dates, describe the weather, people and activities. Ideally students should have completed 15 hours of tuition prior to joining Part 2 of the course.

French Level 1, Part 2 (Evening 5 Week Intensive)

Speed up your French study with five weeks of intensive, three-hour evening lessons. At the end of the course, you’ll be able to greet people, talk about daily activities, find your way, tell the time and date, make simple purchases, order a meal, understand very simple oral and written texts and comprehend specific information on simple topics.

This course is ideal for complete beginners. You will be able to understand very simple oral and written texts and ascertain specific information on simple topics.

French Level 2, Part 1 (Evening 5 Week Intensive)

Continue your French lessons with the perfect tense + agreement, the Negative form (ne…rien/personne/jamais/plus), and duration (pendant/il y a/depuis). Learn how to use the present tense (c’était/il y avait/il faisait), pronouns(y/en) and relative pronouns (qui/ que/où). Practise how to write a postcard, describe a place, express your feelings and beyond.
