King's exhibiting at the forthcoming Forensics Europe Expo

The Department of Forensic and Analytical Science will be exhibiting at the forthcoming Forensics Europe Expo at the Olympia later this month.

Barbara Daniel, Head of Department, Dr Denise Syndercombe Court, Reader in Forensic Science and Professor David Cowan, Director of the Drug Control Centre will be at the event to talk about the Forensic Science masters level offered by the Department and also the ‘DNA analysis at King's’  DNA testing service

The closure of the Forensic Science Service in  2012 has forced the forensic landscape to evolve into an ‘open market’. There is now, more than ever, a need to understand new legislation, and the impact and future challenges it will have on the availability, procurement and supply of forensic analysis. Forensics Europe Expo is the only dedicated forum to procure cost effective solutions for Forensics Analysis, Scene of Crime, Digital Investigation Services & Equipment and Lab Equipment across the legal, corporate and public sectors.

The Forensic Europe Expo is on at Olympia 24-25 April. More info: http://www.forensicseuropeexpo.com/

School staff wishing to attend the event can contact lesley.nott@kcl.ac.uk to arrange a pass.
