Role

I studied Environmental Science at Stirling University and graduated in 1999. I suffered from Asthma as a child and when thinking about dissertation topics to pursue, I chose to undertake a study which looked at the difference between NO2 levels inside cars and outdoors.

I stayed on at Stirling for an extra year gained a postgraduate diploma in I.T with some experience in HTML, Cobalt, Perl, Object Oriented programming and Java. It's this interaction between science and technology which really interests me and has driven my involvement with the dissemination aspects of ERG's work particularly mobile apps.

I'm also involved in the low emission zone study as a science educator teaching kids in Tower Hamlets and Hackney about air pollution in London. The study is the largest of it's kind lasting 4 years to determine the health impact of London's low emission zone.
