Spanish Level 1, Part 1 (Evening 5 Week Intensive)

This fast-track intensive Spanish course will be taught in the evenings. Each class is 3 hours in duration from 18.00 to 21.00.

Learn the preterite perfrect + ya - aún / todavía no, how to use ir a + infinitive and how to say querer, pensar + infinitive. Practice discussing recent actions and experiences, asking for things or permission, expressing plans or wishes, and more.

Discover when to use the present perfect v. preterite tense, and learn the imperative and the imperfect tense. Discover more uses of verbs ser, estar and doler. Practise talking about historical periods, presenting debates or discussions, and sharing anecdotes.

Continue your journey to B1 Spanish proficiency by learning to communicate with correct pronunciation and intonation and with increasing complexity. Start using the formal version of se, ser and estar with adjectives and the verbs gustar and encantar, plus much more. Practise describing personality and state of mind, talk about cultural stereotypes, narrate movies, and beyond.

Understand how to use ojalá… and deseo/quiero + pido/exijo + infinitive/que + subjunctive. Discover the uses of por and para, pronouns with the imperative, and more. Practise giving or asking for advice or instructions, sharing your opinion and arguing your position, making claims, and expressing wishes.
