Visiting & booking our Chapels

Our Chapels are first and foremost places of Christian worship. They are used for acts of corporate worship by members of the King’s community. They are also used by staff and students for private prayer and reflection throughout the day.

Attending Services

Visitors are welcome to attend any of our regular, term-time Choral Evensong (Tuesdays), Eucharist (Wednesday) or Morning Prayer (Thursday) services that are held in the College Chapel, or the Weekly Eucharist (Friday) service in the Guy's Chapel.

King's students and staff are welcome to attend any of the services held in either of our Chapels.

Visiting our Chapels

College Chapel

Individual visitors, or small groups of 5 or less, are welcome to view the College Chapel when the campus is open and the Chapel is not in use for a service or event. We would advise you to check with the Dean's Office before travelling to campus to ensure that the Chapel is available to you - that being said, the Strand Reception team should be able to advise you if the Chapel is available to visitors on the day should you not have been able to check in advance.

Groups of 5 or more are welcome to view the College Chapel by prior arrangement, ideally two weeks in advance - email the Dean's Office to express an interest or find out more.

All visitors must report to the Reception desk on the Strand, where they will be signed in as Chapel Visitors and directed to the College Chapel.

Note: We do not permit photography in wedding dress to be taken in the College Chapel if the couple weren't married, or had their marriage blessed, in the Chapel.

Guy's Chapel

Visitors are welcome to visit the Guy's Chapel at any time that the Chapel is open.
