Applying for funding

All Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience staff must submit grant applications through the IoPPN’s Research Grants office with the exception of some NIHR schemes which have to be routed via the appropriate Trust (NIHR programme grants, Research for Patient Benefit).

Costings for salaries need to be calculated in discussion with the Research Grants office. Any cost implications for NHS Trusts accommodating the research will also need to be covered. For more information on applying for grants please see the guidance available on the Research Grants and Contracts office website.

If you are applying for a grant which involves South London and Maudsley, please contact Lauren Moult who will advise you on costings.
