King’s Affiliate Account Request

Authorisers – How to approve or reject a request.

If you are designated as an approver for either your Faculty or Directorate you will receive email’s asking if you can approve or reject requests. 

In the case of the larger Faculty or Directorates there may be more than one approver.  In this case the request will be sent to a number of you, as soon as one person authorises or rejects the request another email will be sent to the remaining approvers to make them aware the request has been approved, or rejected, so there is no need for any further action.

The approval email will be similar to the below:

To approve or reject a request, all you need to do is simply reply to the email with the words “approved” or “rejected”. If you are rejecting the request, you also have the option of entering a rejection reason.

Once the request has been approved or rejected, the rest of the approvers on the list will be sent the following to confirm the request has been completed:
