Arabic (Spoken) Level 1 Part 1 (Summer Intensive)

Start your introduction to Arabic by understanding the alphabet and sounds and learning which words are masculine and feminine. Learn how to use possessive endings and definite and indefinite nouns, and discover the question words and how to say I have. Practise greetings and how to introduce yourself, how to ask questions and order food, and more.

Arabic Level 1, Part 1 (Evening 5 Week Intensive)

These three-hour lessons will get you communicating at a very basic level in just five weeks. You’ll be able to greet people, find your way, tell the time and date, make purchases and order a meal. You’ll also get a small insight into Arabic-speaking life, culture, and society.

Arabic Level 1, Part 2 (Evening 5 week Intensive)

Take your Arabic lessons further by learning the idafa (noun-noun) structure and the dual while continuing with adjectives, masculine and feminine plurals, irregular plural patterns and more. Practise asking for directions, discussing where you came from, and shopping, amongst other functions.

Master numbers from 11 to 100 and the days, weeks and months of the year. Start working with the present tense, comparatives and superlatives, weak verbs, and the past tense of the verb ‘to be’. Practise asking and answering questions about everyday activities, discussing holidays and future plans, and booking a hotel room.

French Level 2, Part 2

Discover how to use the future tense, condition with si and use the pronoun on. Learn how to use the imperative to express obligation and prohibition, use the subjunctive + verb to express needs, and form adverbs in -ment. Practise functions like discussing the future and your intentions, outlining health conditions and understanding medical instructions, and expressing satisfaction or dissatisfaction.
