Spanish Level 1, Part 2

Move on to the verbs parecer, gustar, encantar, llevar, probar, and hacer, and start using reflexive verbs and the impersonal ‘Se’. Practice describing people and talking about habits and food.

Master irregular forms of the present tense, the preterite tense and prepositions. Continue working with reflexive verbs, adverbs of frequency and the verb + infinitive. Practise describing places and talking about friends or past events.

The course is aimed at a wide range of students with a general interest in Spanish. No prior knowledge of Spanish is required as the course is for complete beginners.

Learn more forms of the present tense, verbs and expressions to talk about things we find difficult and how to talk about the past. Start discovering tener que + infinitive and the present continuous tense. Practise making recommendations and discussing both the past and events in progress.

Spanish Level 2, Part 2

Understand how to use ¿Puedo …? ¡Te importa si…? and ¿Me prestas…? ¿Tienes …?. Learn the preterite perfrect + ya - aún / todavía no, how to use ir a + infinitive and how to say querer, pensar + infinitive. Practice discussing recent actions and experiences, asking for things or permission, expressing plans or wishes, and more.

Spanish Level 3, Part 1

This course is aimed at a wide range of students with a general interest in Spanish who have completed a Spanish Level 2 course with the King's Language Centre or an equivalent standard.

Spanish Level 3, Part 2

Continue your journey to B1 Spanish proficiency by learning to communicate with correct pronunciation and intonation and with increasing complexity. Start using the formal version of se, ser and estar with adjectives and the verbs gustar and encantar, plus much more. Practise describing personality and state of mind, talk about cultural stereotypes, narrate movies, and beyond.

This course is aimed at a wide range of students with a general interest in Spanish who have completed an Spanish Level 3 course with the King's Language Centre or an equivalent standard.
