The Teaching Centre of Immunology is being formed to coordinate the development and delivery of modules and programmes of study in this field of enquiry. King’s has a long-established reputation for excellence in immunology, starting with Peter Gorer’s fundamental discovery of murine H-2. Today, his legacy continues with King’s staff whose research expertise covers a wide range of interests in immunology, infection and inflammatory disease.
The Teaching Centre of Immunology will act as hub for high-quality immunology teaching and training on programmes for medical and non-medical undergraduate, postgraduate taught and postgraduate research students, as well as clinical trainees and post-doctoral fellows.
