The Modern Language Centre provides expert language tuition in the heart of London to King's students and to the local professional and residential community.
It is situated at the College's main Strand Campus, close to Waterloo and Charing Cross train stations as well as Holborn, the City and Covent Garden. The Centre is part of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities, one of the UK’s most prestigious and comprehensive faculties of its kind.

The MLC employs over 100 teaching staff from a wide range of linguistic and cultural backgrounds. Our teachers are native speakers and are well versed in the latest methodology and pedagogy of language teaching, also bringing an immersive cultural experience to the classroom.
Many have expertise in other areas such as journalism, politics, business, international affairs and the health sector.
Our Evening & Saturday Language Courses are open to all. We have 26+ languages available to study from beginner to near native speaker.
If you are a King's undergraduate or postgraduate student, you may be able to take a language module for free as part of your degree.
Bespoke language tuition is available for 1-to-1, small groups and corporate partnerships, designed in line with the clients' specific requirements.
