From 12 May - 13 June 2023, we're collaborating with NEST, the network to engage, support & bring together parents and carers at King’s, to collect the following items for our King's Volunteering partner, Little Village:
- Clothes and coats (0-6 years).
- Shoes (children's size 3 - 13).
- Slings & baby carriers.
- Towels & blankets.
- Changing mats & changing bags.
- Feeding & weaning kits - plates, bowls, cutlery, sippy cups and beakers.
- New nappies, wipes & toiletries for baby, toddler & mum (new and unopened).
- Toys and books.
Please note that all donations must be of great quality and condition. The items that Little Village pass on to families are a gift, given with love, from one family to another. Please bear this in mind when you are preparing your donations and only donate items you would be happy to pass on to a family member or friend – so no stained, worn out or broken items please. Further guidance is available on the Little Village website.

Volunteer with Little Village
Volunteers are Little Village’s lifeblood – they couldn’t support families without them. People of all ages bring both solidarity and kindness to the work of Little Village. Volunteering with Little Village is a brilliant way to meet new people, to learn new skills, and to make a real and direct difference in your local community. Little Village offer volunteering opportunities to both individuals and teams at their sites in Tooting, Balham, Roehampton, Kings Cross, Wembley, Hackney and Hounslow.
If you want to make a real difference in your community, there are lots of different ways you can volunteer with Little Village. We know that there are so many positive benefits to volunteering, including getting out of the house and meeting new people in a fun and friendly environment, learning new skills and gaining confidence and self-esteem. There are many flexible volunteering options available, including a Saturday family volunteering session available in Tooting and Brent that you can bring children along to. There are two opportunities currently open at King's Volunteering online:
