Our highlights of 2016 

  • We inspired the next generation of entrepreneurs by attracting well-known speakers including the deputy mayor for business, jo malone, cynthia carroll and heston blumenthal

  • We launched our unique accelerator to support 20 high-potential king's student, staff & alumni ventures. Over half have already won investment & 5 have been nominated for or won national awards

  • We grew our team, moved to our brilliant new co-working space in bush house and raised our profile through new communications

  • Hundreds of students have gained new learning and career-enhancing skills through our workshops and keats virtual learning space

  • We're harnessing king's expertise in psychology, business and defence and this year our team and 25 entrepreneurs were trained in leadership & resilience by the uk defence academy

  • 4000 new students have been introduced to entrepreneurship through our events, magazine, student societies & fresher's fairs 

  • We formed exciting new partnerships including community partnerships with westminster, southwark & lambeth councils and international partnerships with the yunus centre and MIT

  • We grew and diversified our entrepreneurial community through online & face to face engagement

  • We appointed our first professor of the practice of entrepreneurship- Stefan Allesch-Taylor CBE

  • 2016 was an exciting year for  other ventures we support. Attollo were showcased in Vogue, Eatabout won a place on startup Chile and hackajob have raised over half a million pounds in seed funding.
