AIM25

Descriptions of what our Archives hold can also be found on AIM25.

Archives manages the AIM25 website in association with the University of London Computer Centre. The 123-partner project aggregates the descriptions of archive collections in London institutions. It is a major research resource and attracts some 1.2 million hits per month. New institutional records are being added regularly, most recently from the London Metropolitan Archives, the National Maritime Museum and Kew Gardens.

Special Collections

You can search for items located at the Foyle Special Collections Library in the main library catalogue or in the Special Collections subset of the library catalogue  . Some hints for searching the catalogue are provided in the PDF below. Items can be consulted at the reading room in Chancery Lane.

Items from the Liddell Hart Library are housed at Archives in the Strand and can be consulted there and can be searched for on the main library catalogue.

Please remember that not all material can be found in our online catalogues. You may need to look at manual finding aids, such as the printed and card catalogues and hand-lists that can be found in our reading rooms.
