How we can help
Our staff are here to help you make the best use of the services and resources available in our libraries and online.
Staff in the library can offer assistance with using library facilities, basic IT advice and advice about how to access online resources.
A suite of online activities are provided in the KLaSS area of KEATS to take you through some of the key skills you’ll need. These are free, available any time and include:
• Getting started with your studies
• Finding and evaluating information
Search for ‘KLaSS Home’ on KEATS
We also offer as well as a number of self-help library guides to help you navigate around our libraries and online services.
Student Servies provide a cross-campus support for all offer holders, current and former students of King's College London.
Our Student Support Officers provide you with the practical support and information you need to navigate though your studies and any personal issues that may arise.
Based in three libraries (Franklin-Wilkins, New Hunt's House and Weston Education Centre) and Bush House at the Strand and are accessible in-person, online and by phone, our purpose is to make your time at King's as unburdened and enriching as possible.
For in-person IT help you can visit the IT Tech bars in the Maughan, Franklin-Wilkins and New Hunt's House libraries. You can also contact the IT Service Desk which is open 24/7,every day of the year.
