Get Festive at King's Libraries, with our Festive Feedback. Swing by any of the libraries and you'll find dazzling festive trees, each with tags just waiting for your holiday wishes and thoughts.

You’ll also find the 'Naughty or Nice' comment boxes near each tree to drop in your feedback. Tell them us how we are doing and what we can do to improve your library experience.

Are you in a quiet or silent zone and other people being too noisy?

Text the Noise Line on  07883303052, describing your location (library name and room) and we will respond as soon as possible. We will not text back unless we need to clarify your location.

Examples:

‘Student talking loudly on phone, Maughan Library, room 2.59’

or ‘Large group chatting, WEC library, floor 2 open plan area’

This service is currently operating Monday to Friday between 09.00 – 19.00 and 12.00 - 16.00 on Saturday and Sunday. 

(Service not available during Bank Holidays or over Winter/Easter breaks. Please note that St Thomas's is only staffed a few hours a week and we may be unable to act on your Noiseline message.)

Library access

Access to our libraries is under ongoing review as part of university-wide access arrangements, and we are aiming to increase access over the coming months. We will update access information once additional steps are confirmed.

Our libraries are currently closed to some external visitors (except for Special Collections and Archives), access is prioritised for current King’s students, staff, NHS members of the library, Alumni, eligible Independent Researchers, University of London (UoL) students and registered SCONUL Band-A users.
