150th anniversary microsite launched
Posted on 12/04/2010
This year marks the 150th anniversary of the Florence Nightingale School of Nursing & Midwifery at King’s. To commemorate the event the School has recently launched a special microsite.
The School was the world’s first professional school of nursing and is the direct descendant of the original Nightingale Training School, founded by Florence Nightingale at St Thomas’ Hospital in 1860.
The microsite tells you all about the School’s history and founder, but also much more about our students, alumni and research activities, and the series of events the School is participating in over the coming months.
Visit the microsite.
