Excellent facilities, cutting edge technology and our international collaborations underpin our research which focuses on four key areas:

Research students have two supervisors to guide them through their research project. Our research atmosphere is friendly, encouraging and positive, and the success rate is high. All students are allocated a Postgraduate Coordinator (PGC) in addition to their supervisors, to provide additional support and review progress.

Stem cell biologist, Dr Cynthia Andoniadou is Associate Dean for Postgraduate Research Studies.

We strive to provide a stimulating and nurturing environment for our students, encouraging training in research and life skills, and championing innovative practice.
