Welcome to the Faculty of Dentistry, Oral & Craniofacial Sciences from Executive Dean, Professor Michael Escudier

You find us at a very exciting point in our history. We are the largest dental faculty in Europe and we’re rated in the top 5 in the world for dentistry*. Not to mention that as part of King’s College London we belong to a vibrant multi-faculty university in the centre of one of the world’s great cities.

But what does this mean to our students, clinicians, researchers and professional staff?

With over a thousand dental students, we have a critical mass that brings considerable benefits to everyone. More students mean we have more staff, more staff mean we have more specialists and a greater diversity of research. The sheer depth and breadth of our education and research underpin our mission to deliver the best possible oral health for society.

If you’re new to King’s, you’ll find we’re a very accessible and approachable faculty. My role is to makes sure everyone achieves their full potential in a supportive and friendly environment.
