London Venture Crawl

A 12-hour tour on a double-decker bus, visiting some of London’s most innovative hot spots sounds exciting, right?

Set up by the Entrepreneurship Institute in 2017 with one bus, London Venture Crawl has since grown to an annual event with 16 universities, 10 buses and 400 students participating in 2020, with parallel events taking place in Birmingham, Manchester, Chicago and Melbourne!

The journey takes students to some of London's top innovation hubs and workspaces to experience London's startup ecosystem first-hand and meet top entrepreneurial leaders. Participants take part in behind-the-scenes tours, talks and activities. The event is designed to give students the opportunity to connect to real-world businesses, be inspired by the UK’s vibrant entrepreneurial ecosystem, and gain skills in self-confidence, creative-thinking and leadership. VIP passengers hop on board the buses to share their stories and stimulate conversations, peer-to-peer learning and idea sharing.

While we can't jump aboard the Venture Crawl bus this year, we're working to create a digital experience for you to visit London (and the UK's) most exciting start-ups, venture capital firms and enterprise hubs to learn about start-up journeys, social enterprise and impact, sustainability and more!

The 2022 (virtual) Venture Crawl bus departs at 9am on Wednesday 9th March, featuring live and pre-recorded content, along with opportunities for lunchtime networking and our annual Pitching Competition in the evening. Get your all-access pass here.

Venture Crawl 2020

The best way to learn about entrepreneurship and innovative thinking is to experience it first-hand; to meet the people who are creating new jobs and coming up with creative ways to meet society’s challenges. We have the world’s top innovators right on our doorstep and we want students to take full advantage of that. Partnering allows us to build on our shared networks and have diverse conversations. The universities involved all have different specialisms but we share common goals about enterprise education. We’re putting students at the heart of the action.
