Scientific careers beyond academia
Panel discussion
Date: Thursday 28th March
Time: 2-4pm
Venue: Gainsford Lecture Theatre, Weston Education Centre, Denmark Hill
Focus of session:
How do the skills acquired during postgraduate learning facilitate future careers in diverse science settings, beyond academic and clinical contexts? The panel will discuss a range of skills and attributes, working methods and challenges, while considering what third sector organisations and the media look for in their interactions with researchers.
