The Older Persons Fellowship for Nurses and Allied Health Professionals (AHPs) aims to drive clinical excellence, innovation and quality improvement in care for older people. Students who successfully complete the Fellowship are awarded a postgraduate certificate (PGCert) in Advanced Practice. The Older Persons Fellowship is funded by Health Education England (HEE).

I have a real passion for working within older people's care and I am aware I still have so much to learn in regards to how we care and develop our services to meet the needs for all older people. This unique programme will provide me with opportunity to improve my knowledge and skills further.

The ethos of the Older Persons Fellowship is quality, safety, service transformation and innovation in older people’s care. This multidisciplinary Fellowship will empower confident, competent, and compassionate leaders to act as role models and agents of change, to transform person-centred services.
This one-year, part-time Fellowship consists of two modules. It takes a blended learning approach, with online learning, and regular (compulsory) face-to-face study days. There are also residential events at King's.
Throughout the Fellowship there are opportunities to hear guest lectures from national and international experts in older people’s care, policy, research, and service development.
