A-Level Classical Civilisation

Here you will find resources for the A-Level syllabus, designed to help school students and teachers. In collaboration with the Advocating Classical Education project, based here at King's, academics in the Department of Classics have created syllabus overviews, topic talks, practise activities, bibliographies, and more, for each component. These are all free to use.

In this section, you can explore topics such as Greek Religion, Greek Art, Greek Theatre, Imperial Image, Love and Relationships, Invention of the Barbarian, Democracy and the Athenians, the World of the Hero and Politics and the Late Republic.
