The course will involve a detailed engagement with the theological and philosophical issues surrounding claims made about Jesus Christ. It will do so through an engagement with the portrayal of Jesus Christ in Scripture, with the development of doctrines concerning Christ in the early church, and with the ways Jesus has been understood by some significant figures and movements from the past and in the present.
