Module description

What is the module about?

This 3rd year optional module is about the theory and practice of leadership in organisations. It provides students with knowledge and a comprehensive understanding of leadership theory and concepts. Through weekly workshops and participation in exercises designed to develop leadership skills, students will hone their abilities in reflective practice and self-analysis.       

 

Who should do this module?

This module is available to students in the Business School. The course will be useful to all students as leadership is an aspect of organisational life that all will encounter and a soft-skill that will benefit students in their working lives.

 

Assessment details

45% 1.5-hour unseen final exam

45% reflective journal (2500 words)

10% tutorial assessment

Teaching pattern

1-hour weekly lecture, 1-hour weekly tutorial
