Module description
Based on a close reading of key texts over ten lectures and seminars, this course will examine certain selected topics in seventeenth- and eighteenth-century philosophy. The focus will commonly tend to be on the metaphysical/epistemological side of the subject, although ethical, political, scientific, and religious theories will also sometimes be discussed.
