WATTLAB RETREAT 2017

In July, Professor Watt's research group went on their annual lab retreat which took place in Gloucester this year.

Part of the retreat included presentations by members of the lab on best practices for techniques used in the lab involving antibodies and qPCR. CSCRM IMAGINATION Imaging Competition 2017

London Premier of "Ensonglopedia of Science"

February 2017

2017-02-25---Ensonglopedia-Clapham_Website-imageJohn Hinton is the creator of a multi-award-winning trilogy of musical comedies about Charles Darwin, Albert Einstein and Marie Curie.  For his new project, Ensonglopedia of Science, he has written 26 new songs about science, one for each letter of the alphabet.  The project is supported and fact-checked by the CSCRM and several other UK scientific institutions.

The London premiere of the show will take place on Saturday 25th February in Clapham - there will be two performances on this day, at 11am and 2:30pm.  Tickets can be booked here and you can also go to the show's Facebook page for more information.

Royal Society scientific meeting - "Mechanisms of asymmetric cell division" (November 2016)

Organised by Dr Shukry Habib (CSCRM, King’s College London) and Dr Paula Alexandre, this is a residential meeting which allows for increased networking and discussion.
