Constellation

Close-up of a medal from the artwork 'Constellation'

Created by Kate Keara Pelen, Constellation // A Watch of Nightingales is an impressive art installation inspired by the stars. Gaze at the display of over 100 badges from the Nightingale Training School and listen to inspiring nurses share the highs and lows of their career.

Art has the power to educate. Guy’s Campus is home to the world’s only collection that explores the complex nature of childbirth and motherhood. We run tours so anyone can see the artists’ powerful photography, painting, sculptures, and more.

Skyscape Wellbeing

When life gets hectic, we often forget to slow down. Lecturer Annie Holme encouraged people to stop, look to the sky and capture the view. Not only did the project promote mental wellbeing, many of the images were showcased in a gallery for everyone to enjoy.

Creative Breaks

What impact can a lunch break have on our wellbeing? We challenged work place culture by asking students and staff to switch off, log off and do something different for just one hour. Our sessions ranged from relaxing yoga to hands-on spoon carving.
