Study Abroad Support Services at King's

As a Study Abroad Student at King’s you can access a number of support services available to current students, some of which include: 

  • Accommodation – you are eligible to apply to King’s Residences for a semester or a year
  • Careers – you can find resources, attend workshops and careers days, book one-to-one appointments and use King’s CareerConnect
  • Chaplaincy – the Chaplaincy is a resource for the whole community; they are practiced listeners who are ready to support any student in confidence
  • Counselling – King's offers counselling and mental health support for all undergraduate and postgraduate students; the service is free and confidential and you can book appointments
  • Disability Support & Inclusion Team – the DSI Team offers information, advice and guidance to prospective and current disabled students
  • Health services  – King’s has its own Health centre, you can learn more about the services they offer and how to register (once you have arrived in London and started your studies at King’s)
  • KCLSU – the KCL Students' Union is run for students by students, they are a home of numerous Sports Clubs and Societies and organise regular events; KCLSU are dedicated to involving and representing students in the community
  • King's Sport - delivering a range of opportunities for students to get involved in sport and physical activity, with an ambition to be the most active university in London
  • Libraries & Collections – you can use a variety of online and offline learning resources to support you during your studies
  • Checking for Plagiarism (Turnitin) – an online platform that checks whether their submission cites sources correctly and is formatted using the appropriate referencing and style guidelines to avoid issues around plagiarism
  • Student Services – getting your Learning Agreements and Arrival Certificates signed, obtain Confirmation of Study Letter, find answers to common questions and support topics on Student Service Online
  • Global Mobility Office (Study Abroad) – a team of friendly Professional Services staff who support you throughout your study abroad at King's
  • Out-of-hours Counselling - Free and confidential support service to King’s students who have low to moderate mental health issues. Students can access this after 5 p.m and before 9 a.m. weekdays, weekends and college closure days
