Arrival information
When can I book my arrival slot?
Postgraduate students will receive all pre-arrival information including how to complete the mandatory Health and Safety induction and book their arrival slot in early August.
Undergraduate students will receive all pre-arrival information including how to complete the mandatory Health and Safety induction and book their arrival slot around late August. We will contact you to let you know when you can complete these steps.
Do you offer quieter arrival times?
Yes. We’re trialling quieter arrival slots in the mornings before 9:00am to support residents who may benefit from a calmer check-in experience.
During these slots, we’ll reduce the number of arrivals so there are fewer people around. Sites will also keep music low or off where possible, and staff will offer the same check-in support in a more relaxed way.
Who are quieter arrival slots for?
They are for any resident who may feel more comfortable arriving when the site is a little calmer. This may include residents who are neurodivergent, have sensory sensitivities, experience anxiety in busy spaces, or simply feel that a quieter arrival would help them settle in.
Do I need to request this separately?
No. If quieter arrival slots are available, you’ll be able to select one when you book your move-in slot in the portal. You do not need to provide evidence or share personal information to book one.
I need to arrive earlier than 14 September 2026. Can I book an earlier arrival slot?
Early Arrival booking has now closed.
I am arriving late because of visa delays. Will I lose my room?
Don't worry. Your room will be secured as long as you pay the pre-payment and instalments of rent by the deadlines. You can book an arrival slot for later.
I am arriving in the middle of the night. Will I be able to check in then?
Yes. The reception operates 24/7, so there will always be someone to check you in.
What should I do if I need to change my booked arrival slot?
Please log onto the Accommodation Portal and select Change My Arrival Slot.
Are there parking spaces?
There’s no parking at our residences, on move-in days there’ll be a stop-and-drop system. If you require parking, you can find the nearest car park on the NCP website. Visit the NCP website for more information
Do you offer an airport pickup service?
We don't arrange pickups, but you may find such options from third parties. As London is very well-connected via transportation links, you can easily access the residence via public transportations or cabs.
Can I have packages delivered to the residence before arrival?
As there is no storage for packages, we recommend that you arrange deliveries on or after your move-in day.
