Living with us

Our Resilife Programme

The ResiLife Programme is set up to help build communities. Residents can engage and interact with one another to build friendships and share interests. The ResiLife Programme provides an environment to enhance the student experience and increase students physical and mental wellbeing.
In light of the recent climate, the ResiLife Programme has transferred online. Events such as Tea Talk Podcasts, Guided Meditations, Kitchen Hacks, and entertainment evening are available weekly for King's residents and take place via online channels. Ensuring students don’t feel alone during this challenging time, the ResiLife Programme provides an online community for residents to reach out. Check out our online platforms to stay up-to-date with our weekly events.

Creating Communities

Welfare Support

King's Residences provide an in-house welfare team at every residence. The Residences Welfare Leads are specially-trained staff or postgraduate students that live alongside you in residences and are on hand to support you while you're with us. Your Welfare Leads can be contacted directly, or at regular drop-in sessions, for advice, guidance, or even just a chat.
Support is also available via  Student Services and your personal tutor. In addition, KCLSU are here to help you navigate these support services whenever you need.

 Testimonial

"Just wanted to thank you for all you have done during the past year, and even more so during these trying months. The Monday guided meditations have been a particular bright light and one of the few chances we all seem to get to power down and de-stress. Thank you!"

– Michael, PhD Defence Studies (Atlas)

How do I get involved?

You will get an email at the end of September that tells you how to activate your membership and sign up to activities. Once you’ve activated your membership you can start booking by clicking here.

All students living in Great Dover Street Apartments and Champion Hill will have peak access to their gym located in the hall and off-peak access to our campus gyms (which can be upgraded to peak access for £40).

Students living in Stamford Street Apartments will receive free peak memberships for Waterloo and off peak access to The Strand and Waterloo  (for 40 weeks of the year only, which again can be upgraded for £40)
