Moving out of residences
Moving out can be a stressful time. The high of finishing exams is over and you're ready for the summer break to start. However, there are a few key things that need to be done before you head off. We've collaborated with donation services to ensure that anything you don't need is disposed of in a sustainable way. The companies we use provide services that divert redundant furniture, fittings and equipment away from landfill and put them back to good use.
We work with a number of suppliers who provide packing boxes and materials. Please visit the following sites for more information: Argos, Staples, Packaging2Buy, PackingBoxes.
Unfortunately due to space restrictions in our residences, we are not able to store any items for residents. Please take a look at the following storage providers for more information LOVESPACE, Big Yellow Self Storage, Shurguard, Henfield Self Storage, Boxman.
While we are confident you will be able to locate suitable companies, to assist you we have listed below a few companies that students have recently used to provide a packing and removal service for them. If you contact any of these companies, please ensure they meet your needs fully before making a booking with them.
Once all details have been agreed with your chosen removal service, please remember to notify you residence.
Whilst you were living in residences your personal contents were covered by Endsleigh, the No.1 student insurance provider.
