Stephanie Fincham-Campbell photoBiography

Stephanie is a first-year PhD student exploring a mixed methods study of the social networks of severely dependent drinkers.

Stephanie completed her BSc in Psychology at Goldsmiths, University of London and her MSc in Mental Health Services and Population Research at King’s College London, before working as a research assistant over five years on various projects. The most recent of which involved working on the Alcohol Theme of the South London CLAHRC (Collaborations for Leadership in Applied Health Research and Care). Here she worked on a randomised controlled trial evaluating the effectiveness of assertive outreach compared to care as usual for people who frequently attend hospital due to alcohol related reasons.

Stephanie’s future career interests are in implementation science, the role of psychology within addictions and improving support in the community for people with severe and long term mental illness and addiction.

Stephanie is a member of the Addictions Department Diversity & Inclusion Working Group
