Faculty of Arts & Humanities

The Faculty of Arts & Humanities, established in 1989 in its present form, is one of the most prestigious faculties of its kind, ranked in the top six in Europe (QS World University Rankings, 2018). We offer a wide range of traditional and contemporary subjects, ranging from ancient languages and philosophy to film studies and music, and from digital humanities to culture, media and creative industries.

King’s Business School

Since 1989, King’s Business School has grown into a leading management institution – and one of the largest in London. We’ve appeared in the top 10 for business and management studies three years in a row.  We’re a friendly, diverse community committed to the highest quality teaching and research. People from over 80 countries come here to study with us, and we’re proud of the varied perspectives they bring to our School.

Faculty of Dentistry, Oral & Craniofacial Sciences

One of the world’s centres of excellence for dental education, oral and craniofacial scientific research, and oral healthcare provision, ranked 1st globally for dentistry in the QS World University Rankings 2020.

In collaboration with our London teaching hospital partners – Guy’s, King’s College and St Thomas’ – we train dental professionals at all levels, and undertake and actively promote world-class scientific, clinical and translational research focused around three key areas.

The Dickson Poon School of Law

The Dickson Poon School of Law is one of the oldest law schools in England and recognised globally as one of the best in the world. Our staff and students are engaged in teaching and research that addresses some of the greatest challenges of our time and we have a diverse student body from around the globe. The School is based in Somerset House East Wing.

King’s Faculty of Life Sciences & Medicine is one of the largest and most successful centres for research and education in the UK.

Florence Nightingale Faculty of Nursing, Midwifery & Palliative Care

Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience

With over 70 years of sustained excellence, the IoPPN is a world leader in the research, teaching and study of psychiatry, psychology and neuroscience.  

Faculty of Social Science & Public Policy

Home to one of the largest, most diverse and international communities for social research and education in Europe, we have world-leading expertise across social science disciplines, with recognised strengths in security studies, political economy, global health, social risk and resilience, and education and social justice. Our global perspective draws on specialist expertise about important and dynamic regions of the world, including the European Union, China, India, Brazil, Russia and the Middle East.
