Student Blogs
Hello! I am Holly, a first year undergraduate student and I am proud to be studying Adult Nursing at the famous Florence Nightingale School of Nursing and Midwifery. My clinical placements will all be within the University College London Hospitals (UCLH) NHS Foundation Trust which I find very exciting as it is in the centre of London and is one of the biggest trusts in the UK. I will be writting this blog to discuss the aspects of my training, both on placement and in university, which I find particularly interesting and I would love to hear your feedback!

Hello, I'm Siobhan and have just started my final year as a BSc Midwifery student. I am based at King's College Hospital, and have absolutely loved all of the placements I have been on so far in my training, from case loading to the sometimes very chaotic atmosphere of the labour ward. This blog aims to give weekly snippets of life as a student midwife, soon ready to be stripped from my 'student' status and entering the realms of a newly qualified midwife.
Hello, my name is Rachel and I’m a second year Adult nursing student at the Florence Nightingale School of Nursing and Midwifery. I am currently on an exchange with the University of Pennsylvania, joining the senior class for the fall semester. This will be a blog about my experiences of being a student nurse at an Ivy League University, and how I adapt to being a resident Philadelphian.
