Dr Sadie Boniface

Sadie joined KCL in spring 2015 as a Post-Doctoral Research Worker. Sadie works on randomised controlled trials of psychosocial interventions to reduce alcohol and substance use in adolescents in a variety of settings (SIPS Jr, SIPS Jr High, RISKIT-CJS). Sadie’s research interests are in alcohol, young people, comorbidity and the treatment gap. She completed her PhD at UCL in 2013, which explored how alcohol consumption is under-reported in surveys.
Sadie is also involved in teaching, co-leading the Alcohol Problems, Policy and Practice module on the MSc in Addiction Studies and is an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. She is also a member of the IoPPN Postdoc Network committee.
Sadie is a member of the Diversity & Inclusion Departmental Working Group.
