King's Housing Clinic
King's Housing Clinic is a free advice-only legal service providing housing support. King's law students are supervised by an experienced housing solicitor employed in the Clinic and external housing law specialists.
What issues can King's Housing Clinic help with?
We offer advice to tenants on disrepair and tenancy issues, including the return of tenancy deposits and end-of-tenancy disputes.
We are unable to assist with urgent cases involving imminent eviction or homelessness, but we can advise on early concerns about homelessness. Please note that we cannot advise homeowners, landlords, or on matters relating to antisocial behaviour.
King's students seeking housing advice should contact Student Services, Advice and Guidance.
What type of service is offered by the Clinic?
This is an appointment-only service. We aim to offer appointments virtually, but where appropriate, we may conduct an appointment face-to-face.
After the appointment, we will provide a one-off letter of advice. Please note we cannot provide ongoing representation and/or represent you in court.
When is the Clinic open for appointments?
The Housing Clinic offers appointments on Tuesdays only.
