King's Immigration & Asylum Clinic

King’s Immigration & Asylum Clinic offers regular free advice in partnership with Duncan Lewis Solicitors, with the aim of improving access to high-quality legal advice on immigration and asylum matters.

The clinic is supervised by Duncan Lewis Solicitors who interview clients with the support of student advisers.

What issues can King's Immigration & Asylum Clinic help with?

The clinic can assist with a wide range of immigration and asylum matters and provide one-off advice.

Please note we cannot assist where deportation proceedings have been commenced, a claim in the Tribunal has been commenced/and or is ongoing, or where there is an urgent deadline.

What type of service is offered by King's Immigration & Asylum Clinic?

This is an appointment-only service. We aim to offer appointments virtually, but where appropriate, we may conduct an appointment face-to-face.

Clients booked in for an appointment with the clinic will meet with a solicitor from Duncan Lewis, who provides them with advice verbally during the appointment.

King’s students will assist in drafting the client care letter which summarises the advice given at the appointment.

Duncan Lewis aims to send the client care letter to the client one week after the appointment has taken place.

What days is the Clinic available for appointments?

The Immigration & Asylum Clinic offers appointments on Tuesdays only.
