King's Intellectual Property Clinic is a free advice only service providing IP advice.  King's Law students are supervised by specialist lawyers from our partner law firm, Briffa.  

What issues can the  IP Clinic help with?

The Clinic provides free intellectual property (IP) advice to small traders and businesses, entrepreneurs, start-ups and organisations.

We will assist on matters relating to trade marks and designs, procedures and forms for registration of IP rights, their protection and enforcement.

Our IP Clinic is committed to foster innovation, creativity and contribute to economic justice. 

What type of service is offered by the Clinic?

We can only offer help where you have been booked in for an appointment with the clinic and will provide a one-off letter of advice. Please note we cannot provide ongoing representation and/or represent you in court.

What days is the Clinic available for appointments?

The IP Clinic offers appointments on Wednesday afternoon only.
